NORTH VERNON, Ind. (October 26, 2013) – A North Vernon man is in jail after a search warrant of his home turned up evidence of a murder plot.

Friday afternoon North Vernon Police officers served a search warrant on a home in the 100 block of W. Walnut Street and recovered computer equipment and paperwork related to their investigation.

Some of the paperwork the police department found led police to believe the suspect was involved in a plot to commit murder.

After a judge’s order Saturday, the suspect in the home, Daniel Rogers was arrested and is being held on $300,000 bond.
