INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– The Indiana Pacers announced Monday morning that forward Danny Granger will be out for several weeks due to a calf injury he sustained in the preseason.

Granger will sit out for about three weeks to rehabilitate a strained left calf injury, said Pacers officials.

The forward missed all but five games last season due to a knee injury. Officials said this current injury is strictly related to the calf injury.

The Pacers begin their season Tuesday in a game against the Orlando Magic.
