INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 10, 2013) —  A man was in serious condition after driving off the road, flipping in his car and being trapped inside, Sunday morning.

Police say the 25-year-old man was headed north on East Street in a black Honda, when he lost control of the car and ended up upside down,  in the yard of the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home.

A passerby saw the flipped car  just after 4 a.m. and flagged down police at a nearby gas station for help.

Rescue crews were able to pull the man out of the car in just under 30 minutes. He was awake and responding at the time but was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
