INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 23, 2013) — A neighbor woke up to smoke and flames as a nearby house burned on the north side early Saturday morning. That neighbor called 911 and firefighters got the flames extinguished quickly, but not before the fire burned through that house and melted the siding off a neighboring house.

Thankfully, both homes were vacant and no one was hurt. The house that caught fire was being renovated.

Firefighters were still investigating the cause.
