Everyone out safe after house fire on near east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., (November 24, 2013) — A house divided into apartments went up in flames on the near east side Sunday morning.

As crews battled the flames, at 1301 N. Ewing Street, they feared people were trapped inside. But everyone had made it out safely and was later accounted for. Firefighters say one personw as slightly injured and was treated by medics on scene.
