Police investigate armed robbery at Noblesville Mexican grocery

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (Nov. 27, 2013) – An armed robbery occurred at Rancho Alegre Mexican Grocery Tuesday evening.

Noblesville police officers were dispatched to the store in the 700 block of S. 10th St around 6:40 p.m. in reference to a report of a holdup alarm.

According to witnesses, a subject came into the grocery store and displayed an object believed to be a handgun.

The subject took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Within one minute on the scene, officers located two male subjects in the alley next to the store.

One of the subjects fled on foot while the other subject remained.

Officers eventually located the subject that fled around 9:45 p.m.

Both subjects were taken to the police department and questioned.

There were no injuries in this incident.
