INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 6, 2013)— Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the murder of an Iraq veteran at a west side apartment complex this past Wednesday afternoon.
Tryon Kincade, 19, and Tyshaune Kincade, 18, were preliminarily charged with murder and robbery in the death of 32-year-old SFC James Vester.
Friends of Vester told FOX59 that Vester was killed while attempting to purchase an iPad from people he met on Craigslist. The shooting occurred at the Wyckford Commons apartments, near West 10th Street and North Girls School Road, around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Vester leaves behind a wife and son. A YouCaring page has been created in support of Vester’s family.
Vester’s family released the following statement:
“We are all so thankful for the kind words, actions, and prayers that have been sent our way. The outpour of love, support and monetary donations are beyond expections. I want to send a special thank you to all of the military family that have been so helpful.
Jim was loved by so many people. He was the best husband I could have ever asked for. He would do anything for anyone at anytime. Gavin will always know of and love “dadda”. Thank you everyone for your condolences. “
