Westfield Person of Interest

Westfield Suspect 2

Westfield police are actively looking for a person of interest in a double murder case.

52-year-old Marylyn Erb and 23-year-old daughter Kelley Erb were found dead in their home on Oak Park Court. Police say a family member found them Friday just before 5 p.m.

Officials now say the case is a home invasion robbery that turned deadly.

Westfield Mayor Andy Cook has allowed the City of Westfield to dedicate all of its resources to help solve this case. “The police department has been working around the clock to find who is responsible for this and will continue to do so,” says Mayor Andy Cook. “Residents should entrust that the police department and the city’s primary goal is safe city and that hasn’t changed. The evidence is being released to the public as quickly as it can be. I ask the city to be patient, but also diligent citizens and if they know anything to contact police.”

The Westfield Police Department would like to advise the public to stay vigilant in reporting and to contact the Westfield Criminal Investigations Division at (317) 773-1300 or to remain anonymous Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS (8477) with any information. Please contact Captain Charles E. Hollowell with any media inquiries
