INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 3, 2014) — The Indianapolis Colts pumped up fans for the playoffs with a series of Blue Friday events around central Indiana.

From 7 to 8 a.m., the mascot, Blue, joined several Colts cheerleaders in a free playoff poster giveaway at area four Meijer stores, which are listed on the Colts’ official website.

Later, a pep rally is scheduled at the Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis.

All of these events lead up to the first-round playoff game against the Chiefs, which kicks off at 4:35 p.m. Saturday.  If the thousands of remaining tickets do not sell out by 4:30 p.m. Friday, the NFL will blackout the game on local television.
