Power restored on east side after Friday morning outage

Indianapolis, IND. (Jan. 3, 2014) – Indianapolis Power and Light Company crews have restored power in the area of 38th Street and German Church Road as of 7:45 a.m.

However, the traffic light at the intersection of 38th and German Church was still out.

At the height of the outage, nearly 2,400 outages were reported. A car slid into the utility pole, causing lines to come out of their sleeves at about 6 a.m. Friday.
