INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 3, 2014) – A man who was shot while trying to rob a Brinks truck outside a south side Walmart has died.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police said Timothy Jackson, 53, died at Eskenazi Hospital from complications associated with injuries he suffered in the incident.

On Dec. 22, IMPD officers were dispatched to Walmart at 7245 U.S. 31 in response to a report of a shooting and attempted robbery.
