INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man who they said may be connected with five robberies on the south and east side of Indianapolis.
Authorities said the man walked into businesses and demanded money, implying he had a handgun in his waistband. One clerk told officers he observed a chrome revolver on the man’s right hip when he lifted his coat during a robbery. The weapon was believed to be a .357 Magnum.
The suspect is described to be a black male between the ages of 25 and 35. He is approximately 6-feet tall, 150 to 170 pounds with a mustache, goatee and a tattoo under his left eye. He was wearing a dark brown stocking cap, black coat with silver buttons on the shoulders and black tennis shoes with a white design.
