HAMILTON COUNTY (Jan. 10, 2014) — School districts around Central Indiana faced the tough decision of whether to hold class Friday or cancel it for a fifth day in a row.

Hamilton Southeastern Schools, Carmel-Clay Schools and Noblesville Schools all were scheduled for a two-hour delay Friday but just before 6:00 a.m. administrators made the decision to cancel classes.

Many sidewalks and side streets were still snow-covered in Fishers Friday morning. Snow banks blocked street corners that serve as bus stops.

Interstates and main thoroughfares were clear of snow but as freezing drizzle fell even those areas became slick.
