Six injured following weather-related crash in Terre Haute

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (Jan. 16, 2014)– Six people are injured after a weather-related crash in northern Vigo County.

Amber Ramsey, 18, from Terre Haute was driving her car westbound on Devonald Av. approaching the stop sign at Rosedale Rd. A 17-year-old from Terre Haute was southbound on Rosedale Rd. in an SUV. Ramsey’s Sable was traveling too fast for road conditions and slid through the stop sign colliding with the SUV. The 17-year-old, along with three other juvenile passengers in the vehicle all sustained injuries.

Ramsey suffered injuries, and a seriously injured 17-year-old female passenger from Ramsey’s car had to be extricated by the Otter Creek Fire Department.

Required tests for alcohol and drugs following all serious bodily injury crash were administered, and none were detected.
