INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 14, 2014)– A man accused of kidnapping and sexually abusing two women is being held in jail while investigators try and find links to other crimes he may have committed.

Michael D. Parrish is being held in the Hendricks County jail on a $1 million bond. Charges against Parrish include rape, kidnapping, armed robbery, and theft.

Police believe Parrish may be involved in other crimes throughout the Indianapolis metro area.  Other agencies are working additional crimes that may be linked to him.

Avon police said Michael Parrish, 37, was arrested on kidnapping and rape charges in connection with an incident on Feb. 6. Police said Parrish abducted two women at gunpoint from the Wal-Mart parking lot and allegedly sexually assaulted both women twice. Authorities said the incidents occurred while a 3-year-old child was in the backseat.

The women were then forced to drive to their house, where Parrish tied them up, said police. Police said a man at the house was also battered and bound, before the suspect fled the home in a stolen vehicle.

Anybody with any information on this case or anyone who may have been a victim of Michael Parrish should contact their local law enforcement agency.
