FOX59 goes to Hollywood for American Idol

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Feb. 20, 2014)– After a cancelled flight and an extra night in Indy, FOX 59’s Tanae Howard finally made it to Hollywood.

We’re following the American Idol journey of Indianapolis native, Marrialle Sellars.

She opened this season with Bruno Mars’ hit song “Grenade.” He outgoing personality, talent and spunk landed her a spot in the live shows.

Tuesday night she took the stage live for the first time belting out her rendition of Katy Perry’s “Roar.” The judges weren’t blown away but Marrialle’s fate is in America’s hands. Tonight the remaining 20 contestants will become 13. FOX 59 is set in place to speak with the top 13 at the after party for tonight’s show. Stay with us to see if the 18 year old will roar to the top.
