CARMEL – In four seasons, Scott Heady has made the school of Keystone Road a difficult stop for any team in the IHSAA.

Since taking over the program in 2010, the coach has led Carmel to a pair of state championships while compiling a 77-20 overall record.

It’s not a surprise that the Greyhounds will be in the conversation again after another strong season, one which they completed on Friday night with a decisive 57-32 non-conference win over Brebeuf. It puts Heady’s team at 19-1 to finish the regular season along with the No. 1 ranking in Class 4A heading into the tournament.

The Greyhounds will open Sectional 8 play against Zionsville on Wednesday night at Noblesville High School.
