Man stabbed at homeless shelter

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 2, 2014) — Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating a stabbing, which sent one man to the hospital in Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.

Around 7:45 p.m. police were called to Homeless and ReEntry Helpers, Inc. in the 900 block of East Michigan Street for a person stabbed.

Once on scene they found a man had been stabbed and the suspect had fled the scene.

Police have no details on the suspect at this point.
