INDIANAPOLIS (March 14, 2014) – An overturned semi caused problems for drivers going through Indianapolis Friday.

The truck crashed around 11 a.m. on I-65 southbound at the north split.

Drivers trying to get to downtown Indianapolis are running into delays because two lanes of the interstate are blocked on I-65. The right two lanes of westbound I-70 are also closed near the north split.

According to Indiana State Police, wind was not a factor in the crash. Sgt. Rich Myers said another vehicle made an “unsafe lane movement” that forced the semi to make a last-second adjustment. The driver lost control and crashed, Myers said.
