INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 16, 2014) — IMPD is investigating after two women say they were raped early Saturday morning at gunpoint.

The women were waiting for a bus near 16th and Emerson when they accepted a ride with two men in a red van. They did not know the men. Instead of taking them to their intended destination, the women say they were driven someplace on Shadeland Avenue and raped. One of the men was armed.

Police are looking for both men. One is described as being about 35 years old, with a stocky build, wearing a red shirt and red camouflage pants. His name is possibly Chris.

The other man was about 25, with a thin build and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a silver cross necklace.

If you have any information, you’re urged to call IMPD detectives at 317-327-3475 or Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
