Preparations in place for 34th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade downtown

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 17, 2014)– Set-up started early Monday morning for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Indianapolis. The parade begins at 11:30 a.m. at Pennsylvania and North streets and will head south to Ohio Street before looping back up Meridian Street toward Vermont Street. See the full route here.

The Parade Block Party will start before and last after the parade on Vermont Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public. The party will include live entertainment, food and a beer garden for adults.

The downtown festivities Monday will be the last in a list of weekend activities that brought hundreds of people downtown.
