Fortville man accused of inappropriate relationship with minor

FORTVILLE (April 1, 2014) – Fortville police charged a 21-year-old man after investigating claims of an inappropriate relationship with a minor.

Neil Escue faces two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor. The investigation started in February when police were alerted to the relationship.

Escue was initially arrested on March 25 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Fortville police forwarded paperwork to the Hancock County Prosecutors office for two counts of fraud on a financial institution (Class C Felony), dissemination of matter harmful to minors (Class D felony), and obstruction of justice (Class D Felony).
