INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 2, 2014) – A driver and two passengers led police on a pursuit on the city’s near east side Wednesday morning.

The pursuit started at 2500 E. Washington St. around 5:15 a.m. when someone saw the van hit a parked car.

Officers chased the vehicle to Newton and Oxford until the van hit another car and three people ran away. Police caught the driver and one of the passengers. They were still looking for the second passenger, and set up a perimeter in the 200 block of West Rural.

Police are investigating whether this pursuit could be related to a robbery that occurred earlier in the morning.
