Man shot on near northwest side, second shooting at location in three days

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 1, 2014) – A man was shot Tuesday night on the city’s near northwest side in an area where another fatal shooting took place just days ago.

The shooting occurred  around 11:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 35th Street. Officers found a man in his 20s in the backyard  of a house. He’d been shot in the neck. Medics took him to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

This is the second shooting at this location in just three days.
