INDIANAPOLIS (April 17, 2014) – Curious about Google Glass?

Representatives from the Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis Public Library will demonstrate the head-mounted device Thursday at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St. The gadget allows wearers to get information from a head-mounted display and use voice commands to surf the web.

Library visitors can try on the devices, which the Pacers featured in recent games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. They’ll also get one-on-one training to learn more about Google Glass.

After the event, the Pacers will donate two pairs of Google Glass so the library can continue sharing the new technology with the public.

The event starts at noon Thursday and is part of National Library Week. For more information, visit www.indypl.org.
