FRANKTON (April 22, 2014) – Frankton Jr./Sr. High School was evacuated Tuesday morning after a threat.

According to school officials, someone found the threat written on a wall in a boys’ restroom stall before 9 a.m. The message indicated there was a bomb in the school.

Staff, police, firefighters and at least one K9 searched the building for anything suspicious. They didn’t find anything noteworthy inside the school, and students returned to the building later Tuesday morning.

School officials said there were no positive leads regarding who wrote the threat. They will interview students and scour social media websites for any mentions.
