Car runs into Village Pantry on city’s north side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 8, 2014) – A car ran into the front of a Village Pantry on the city’s north side Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 6300 block of North College Avenue.

The driver was cooperative with police, and he says he accidentally put the car into drive instead of reverse.

No one suffered any injuries, and alcohol is not suspected.

The car left a hole about three and a half feet wide by seven feet deep.

The building is still structurally sound.
