Purdue student crowned 500 Festival Queen

INDIANAPOLIS (May 17, 2014) – Purdue student Lauren Isaacs was crowned 2014 500 Festival Queen at the Breakfast at the Brickyard Saturday morning at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Isaacs, a junior at Purdue from Terre Haute, is studying communications.  She was one of 33 young women selected for the 500 Festival Princess Program.  The 500 Festival Queen and Princesses attend events and volunteer throughout the month of May.  They also participate in the Indianapolis 500 Victory Circle celebration.

Princesses Patia Storms of Brownsburg and Brittany Wagner of Monticello were chosen as Princess Court members. Both are also Purdue University students.
