(May 18, 2014) – The unsettled weather finally says goodbye to the area today with clear skies and slightly warmer temperatures expected. Sunday highs should hit the upper 60s. There will be plenty of sunshine with light winds. There has been some early morning fog reports so make sure you give yourself a little bit of extra time to get wherever you need to go through the morning hours.
Yesterday’s upper low has now be replaced by a 1024mb area of high pressure area. This means sinking stable air will be with us through Monday night. Mornings may be a little chilly with them falling to near 45°.
The extended forecast, and your 500 forecast, shows a mostly dry week with only the one late day chance for rain on Wednesday into Thursday morning. Today’s Pole Day! Good luck to all the racers! I hope you have a wonderful day.
