CLINTON COUNTY (May 20, 2014) – Two students have been arrested following an investigation into sexual battery at a central Indiana high school.

Indiana State Police said the assault happened to a freshman in a locker room at Clinton Prairie Junior/Senior High School. A teacher heard rumors about it and notified administrators.

Kyle Reid Johnson, 19, and Austin Thomas Martin, 18, have been arrested.

Johnson and Martin have each been charged with three counts of criminal confinement and three counts of battery.

Superintendent Chris Sampson told FOX59 the victim initially claimed he’d been held, treated against his will, and poked in the ribs, but denied it was done in a sexual way. He also said he was fully clothed, and it all happened three times since spring break. The school received the report on April 25 and told authorities.

Days after the incident came to light, the superintendent said the victim came back and added to that story.

According to a police report obtained by FOX59, three people witnessed the incident.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office initially handled the case, but Indiana State Police got involved because of a conflict of interest.
