Shot fired during armed business robbery on city’s east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 23, 2014) – A shot was fired during an armed business robbery on the city’s east side Thursday night.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. two armed men robbed Jordans Fish & Chicken in the 9100 block of East 21st Street.

They fired a shot inside the business, but no one was hit. The suspects then fled to  the Warren Harbor Apartment Complex in the 2100 block of Yorkshire Court, and police followed.

They caught up with one of the suspects and arrested him.

Officers served a search warrant for the apartment where they believed the other suspect was hiding, but the apartment was empty.
