Indianapolis hosts first ever PopCon

Fans from all over Central Indiana were at the convention center in downtown Indianapolis Saturday.

For the first year, Indianapolis hosted a convention with a focus on comics, video games, internet culture and encompassing all Popular Culture icons.

Fans of popular shows like Game of Thrones, Doctor Who and others were able to meet celebrities from their favorite shows.

Thousands gathered to meet Ron Glass of Firefly, Sylvester McCoy of Doctor Who, Joel Hodgson of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and several other celebrities who did meet and greets with fans.

Attendees were also able to participate in question and answer sessions, drawing classes as well as dress as their favorite characters from popular tv shows, movies and video games.
