INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 28, 2014) — Looking for a new four-legged companion? There’s over 700 of them up for adoption at the State Fairgrounds this weekend!

Ten area animal shelters are coming together to hold the Indy Mega Adoption event June 28 and 29. The event is free to attend (just pay $5 for fairground parking). Adoption fees are $30, half off the regular price charged by area shelters. The animals up for adoption have already been spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. Animals are available for adoption between 10 and 8 each day.

The Indy Mega Adoption event is an initiative of the ‘Love Me, Fix Me” campaign, an effort to dramatically increase spay and neuter rates in Indiana.
