Hoosier Lottery presents FREE concert feat. Keith Sweat at IBE Summer Celebration

INDIANAPOLIS (July 15, 2014) –  The Hoosier Lottery is proud to present the 2014 Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration FREE concert featuring R&B artist Keith Sweat.

The FREE concert event, formally known as the Music Heritage Festival, is Friday, July 18 at 6 p.m.at the American Legion Mall in Indianapolis. The special guests include After 7 and The S.O.S. Band . General admission is free, but V.I.P. tickets are available online.

Hoosier Lottery television draw hosts Jessica Jackson and Chayzee Smith will appear in the Expo Hall Saturday, July 19.  Expo-goers are invited to stop by the Hoosier Lottery booth (number 131) from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to meet and take photos with the Lottery’s popular television draw hosts.

The 44th Annual Summer Celebration kicked off July 10 and runs through July 20. The Indianapolis summer tradition showcases African American culture through concerts, exhibits and workshops. This week’s event marks the Hoosier Lottery’s 24th year as a sponsor of Indiana Black Expo’s signature event.

ABOUT THE HOOSIER LOTTERY: Hoosier Lottery distributions benefit every county throughout Indiana. Each fiscal year, the Hoosier Lottery contributes $30 million to local police and firefighters’ pensions, and $30 million to the Teacher’s Retirement Fund. In fiscal year 2012, $147.6 million in Hoosier Lottery earnings helped reduce the motor vehicle excise tax by 50 percent.
