INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 1, 2014) – Green BEAN Delivery sees an expanding market.

In response, the online home delivery provider of organic produce and all-natural groceries, plans to build a new headquarters on the east side of Indianapolis. The move is expected to create up to 105 new jobs by 2024.

The homegrown Hoosier company will invest $3.8 million to expand its headquarters and warehouse operations on more than five acres of land. The company provides online grocery service in four states (Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Missouri) and dozens of communities across Indiana.

Founded in 2007, Green BEAN Delivery provides fresh produce and all-natural groceries to its members. The company aims to make local and sustainable foods convenient and accessible to all communities and operates its own 60-acre organic farm.

Company officials said they heard multiple proposals from several different cities and states before picking Indianapolis. The Circle City’s centralized location was a key component in that decision, they said.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered $700,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. The city of Indianapolis will also consider additional tax abatements.
