INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 5, 2014) – It’s $2 Tuesday at the Indiana State Fair, which means $2 admission, food and midway rides.

Events for the day include the World’s Toughest Rodeo and a performance by “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips.

Tuesday’s Highlights

  • $2 Tuesday — $2 admission, foods, and midway rides
  • 4-H Horse & Pony Western Classes —Youth Arena at 8 a.m.
  • Hoosier Lottery Media Event — Lotto Town at Hoosier Lottery Grandstand at 9:45 a.m.
  • Dustin Lynch pres. by HANK FM & Royal Pin Leisure Centers— Free stage 7:30 pm
  • World’s Toughest Rodeo — Hoosier Lottery Grandstand at 7:30 p.m.

Shane Co. Coliseum Concert Series: Phillip Phillips

The season 11 winner of “American Idol,” Phillip Phillips, heads to the Coliseum for a 8 p.m. concert. He is expected to play songs from his new album “Behind the Light” as well as old favorites like his first hit song “Home.” Tickets can be purchased at the Coliseum box office for $15 and $25.

  • Great American Duck Race: Family Fun Park at 10:30 a.m., 1, 4 & 5:30 p.m.
  • MHS pres. Flippenout Extreme Trampoline Show: Dow AgroSciences Celebration Park at 11:30 a.m., 2 & 4:30 p.m.
  • Shenanigans! Comedy Wild West Show: Family Fun Park at 12, 3 & 6:30 p.m.
  • Indiana Farming Experience: Glass Barn 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
