Indianapolis landlord registry bill passes

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 18, 2014)– A bill proposed to hold landlords more accountable in Indianapolis will now be law.

The landlord registry proposal passed by a vote of 16-11 Monday night.

The bill will require landlords to register their properties and list owner information. It would also include a tenant bill of rights.
