(Aug. 18, 2014) - It's a foggy start this Monday morning with some of the heaviest now north and west of Indianapolis. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect now until 10 am, and that means some school delays this morning. Here is the updated map:
After the fog lifts, expect a mainly dry day for the entire state of Indiana under a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the lower 80s.
Storm chances will increase by Tuesday afternoon and some could be on the stronger side with lightning and heavier downpours. The other story is the heat! It will be building this upcoming weekend with signs of the hottest of the summer coming and perhaps holding for awhile...850mb temperatures reaching the 20-25° Celsius range by Sunday indicate 90+ heat likely for many Hoosiers!
