BOSTON, Mass. (August 28, 2014) – From tragedy to true love…

On Saturday, a man injured in the Boston marathon bombings married the nurse who helped him through his recovery.

According to Mail Online, James Costello underwent multiple surgeries after being severely burned in the explosion.

Krista D’agostino was working a six-week temporary stint as a traveling nurse at the hospital where she helped Costello through months of painful rehabilitation.

James and Kristina were married at Boston’s Hyatt Regency. The cost of the ceremony and reception was donated by local businesses.

The Mail Online reports that the bride plans to donate her couture dress to charity.
