INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 3, 2014) – You’ll have to listen to Blues Traveler indoors.

The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve moved the second annual Kickoff Concert inside to Lucas Oil Stadium. The event had been previously planned on Georgia Street, but the threat of inclement weather Friday prompted organizers to make the change.

The Friday concert featuring Blues Traveler is free and open to the public. Other attractions include opening act The Easthills, Colts cheerleaders, giveaways and half-price concessions. It’s scheduled for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The team said a limited amount of free parking would be available in the stadium’s south lot.

The Colts open the regular season against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. The team’s home opener is a prime-time match-up against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 15 on Monday Night Football.

The concert is presented by Downtown Indy and 1070/107.5 The Fan.
