A picture perfect Sunday with sunshine, low humidity, unlimited visibility and an afternoon high of 76°.  Hope you enjoyed it!  A repeat performance is forecast Monday with a few degrees added on in the afternoon with the humidity will remaining quite low.

Early Sunday morning temperature fell into the 40s at Perrysville (Vermillion Co) 49°, Crawfordsville (Montgomery Co) 46° and West Lafayette ( Tippecanoe Co) 46°. The coolest morning in the city since August 15th (49°).

This is dry air – it cools quickly at night and heats up strongly in the afternoon under the early September Sun.  A slow warm up will continue through Wednesday – before the next threat of storms.

The mid-week storm threat looks impressive at this distance for potential strong or severe storm ahead of a most impressive cold front. Early outlook from the Storm Prediction Center has a portion of Indiana in a sever outlook. Stay tuned as more details become available.
