Warming trend with mid-week storm threat
(Sept. 8, 2014) – Another clear, cool, dry start this morning for the area with temperatures hovering again in the 50s…expect another great sunrise!
We’ll see slightly warmer temperatures this afternoon with sunshine remaining the dominant weather feature.
Sunshine will eventually give way to thunderstorms and areas of rain by the middle of the week with the possibility of some storms producing severe weather. A slight risk is already in play from the Storm Prediction Center.
Cooler air is set to arrive by Friday and the upcoming weekend. Look for 60s for afternoon highs and overnight temperatures dropping into the 40s.
