Showers linger but dry time coming this weekend
Fast forward to November. Happy Thursday everyone! What an about-face from Wednesday – down 10 to 15 degrees from same time (5 pm) and running at middle November levels. At 5 PM 55° in the city – the normal high for November 10th.
MORE RAIN COMING
Showers have been lighter and more widely scattered this evening and will remain so overnight. A stalled front south will provide the focus for additional showers and a steadier rain by early Friday.
Remnants of once tropical system ‘Simon’ have reached the southwestern US and are getting injected into the weather pattern sending more moisture east.
DRY TIME COMING
High pressure settles south Friday and will ease the rain and its threat south for Saturday,
Dry time is coming especially north of the city by Friday evening – however a large area of rain is coming east from Missouri and Illinois. There will be a rather large disparity weather wise tomorrow from north to south with that rain targeting more of the southern third of the state.
Everyone will get into dry weather Saturday.
