Police: Argument at store ends with two people shot on southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 9, 2014) – Two people were shot on the southeast side of Indianapolis Thursday afternoon, police say.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), the shooting happened in the 2400 block of East Minnesota Street. One person was in critical condition.

This started at T&T Variety & Grill, police said, after an altercation between the owner and another person. Two people were shot outside the store. The scene is now clear.

There is currently no search for any suspects. IMPD says one of the three people involved fired the shots.

One of the victims was shot in the head, found near a car and taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition. The other victim was shot in the back, found down an embankment near Keystone Ave. and was taken to Methodist Hospital.
