Max Bortenschlager is presented with the McAlister's SPUDtacular Play of the Week award.

INDIANAPOLIS – The votes were counted from last week’s vote and the most SPUDtacular play has been chosen.

For October 3rd, the award went to quarterback who made a play with his legs instead of his arms.

Cathedral’s Max Bortenschlager was voted to have the McAlister’s SPUDtacular Play of the Week award for his run for a touchdown against Fort Wayne Dwenger.

With the pocket closing, the Irish quarterback ran from one side of the field to the other and than ran up the sideline for the score in Cathedral’s victory.
