Two men killed in hit-and-run on west side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 16, 2014) — Indianapolis Metro Police say two men were killed early Sunday morning when they were struck by a vehicle that kept going.

It happened around 3:45 a.m. on 38th Street near Lawndale Avenue. Police say the two men were walking in the eastbound lanes of 38th St., trying to cross the street about a quarter mile east of N. High School Road, when they were struck. Someone who may have see the crash called police and they arrived to find the two men lying in the street. Police are not sure if the victims were hit by subsequent cars.

Police have not yet identified the victims, only saying they are both Hispanic males.
