Police seek man in armed robbery at Speedway gas station

SPEEDWAY (Jan. 28, 2015) – Speedway police need help identifying a man who walked into a Circle K gas station this week and robbed it at gunpoint.

On Monday around 8:40 p.m., the man went inside the gas station at 2610 N. High School Rd. and pulled a gun from his coat. He fired a shot in the air and yelled, “This is a robbery!” The man then went behind the counter and took some cash. He also stole two cartons of Wave and L&M cigarettes before running off, police said.
