INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 23, 2015) – The Indianapolis Department of Public Works cancelled trash collection Monday, citing extreme cold.

The department said residents will have double collection next Monday, meaning they can put out up to 20 bags for pickup.

Last week, DPW made the same decision on Thursday and Friday due to extremely cold weather.

Anyone with questions about trash service should contact the Mayor’s Action Center online or call the office at 317-327-4MAC.
