INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 5, 2015)– Shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, firefighters were called out to the Stone Lake Lodge Apartments to battle an apartment fire in the 4100 block of El Lago Court.

Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the second floor of the eight unit building. The fire was contained in about 25 minutes, however damage to that unit and surrounding units has been estimated around $350,000.

No injuries were reported from the situation, however the IFD Victims Assistance service is working with the Red Cross and  Stone Lake Lodge management to find temporary housing for those units affected by Thursday’s event.
