IMPD arrest possible murder suspect

UPDATE (May 17, 2017) — A jury found Desmond Hess not guilty in the case after deliberating on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 14, 2015) — Indianapolis Metro Police arrested a suspect on Friday, in connection with the murder of 27-year-old Terry Proctor.

Police have arrested 22-year-old Desmond Hess for his alleged involvement in Proctor’s death.

Detectives saw Hess driving a vehicle in the 3900 block North Shadeland Avenue and commit and number of traffic infractions.

Police attempted to stop Hess, but he took off and led police on a short chase.

After a short pursuit, Hess ran from the vehicle, but police were able to stop him and arrest him.

Hess is in the Marion County jail facing charges for murder and resisting law enforcement.
